We’re thrilled to be the first company to set up shop in this space and we’re working really hard right now building the store of our dreams. We don’t want to give away anything just yet, but if you grew up in the 80′s and 90′s like we did, we’re sure you’ll feel right at home at the store.

Hamburger Disco

Although Hamburger Disco isn’t participating in any of these markets this season, we’d still like to invite you to visit many of our friends who are!  If you’re a normal person who hasn’t finished all their Christmas shopping yet (I’m talking about all you people who shop for Christmas gifts earlier on in the year!), then definitely decide to support local Canadian made products from Canadian artisans and designers.

So Rumell is looking for a new TV to put in his pad (business has been good =P) and we were drawn towards the 1080P units with 120Hz technology.  Not too sure if many of you are tech geeks but TV’s with 120Hz give the picture realistic motion and make it seem as if you were watching it on a camcorder instead of on film.

We were probably standing in front of this 65inch Sony model that was playing Transformers 2 for a good 20 minutes watching Megan Fox running around in all her High Definition glory.  I wasn’t really a big fan of the movie, or Megan Fox for that matter but maybe it was the TV that prompted me to look her up when I got home.  Lo and behold I find myself looking at her new Emporio Armani campaign… She’s definitely got that sultry hot girl look.  But is it just me or is that the only looks she’s able to pull off?   I can’t wait until they put her in a movie where she’s not casted just by that.  I wouldn’t mind seeing what this girl has to offer in the talent department.

Nike Philippines brings us these “Limited Edition” Team Pacquiao shirts. The tee features the Philippine eagle (probably best known for the portrait on my parents’ living room wall). With this Saturday possibly being pacman’s “seventh world title win in seven different weight classes” Nike is commemorating this possibly historic event.

The infamous Freddy Roach is predicting a Pacquiao knockout win in the first round! While EA Sports, the creator of “Fight Night Round 4″ has simulated the fight going the distance with Pacquaio coming out on top (the video should be up soon).

The only problem I have with this shirt is that I can’t find this shirt anywhere! Maybe I’m missing something, but the only place I can find this shirt is on good ol’ Ebay. This might be because the fight hasn’t happened yet, but I guess someone’s got their hands on it already (or some decent replication skills). Anyway, while you wait for it, why don’t you pick up some Hamburger Disco tees instead? You never know, maybe in the near future we might just have a team Pacquiao shirt of our own?

Has Gap Robson been hit by the Mad Hatter? It may seem like it but this was actually part of their new promotional campaign to introduce the “Sprize” program.  The program allows Gap customers to purchase any regular price merchandise and if it ever goes on sale then you get the difference back!  More money in my pocket definitely seems like a good way to be shopping.

Did I mention that this is available exclusively in Vancouver?  The city was chosen for testing on the new program and they held the press conference at the Robson Street location.  To help promote this to its customers, Gap recently flipped the store upside down to show that maybe they aren’t crazy for giving money back to it’s loyal shoppers.  But looking at the pictures of the upside down cars and hot dog stand, I’d say they are…

I’m a really big fan of sneakers, but I don’t really get to feature them as much here because there’s just way too many to do but I had to feature this!  Paper toys have been getting a lot of attention lately and UK based artist David Browning has definitely been a huge fan of paper ever since.  ”Here is a list of things that i like: Pop up books, paper mechanics, different types of pens, different types of paper…” says David on his website.  Judging from these paper sneakers, I’d say he’s pretty damn good at what he does.
