So I’m 24 now – That means in 2003 I was 17 – Which means growing up I was a huge Fall Out Boy Fan. And while the days of Fall Out Boy have passed, and they no longer remain a guilty pleasure of mine, I’m still huge fan of the vocal talents of lead singer Patrick Stump. This guy can belt out a tune (as evidenced by the video above). And so after almost a decade of Fall Out Boy antics, he’s setting out to make it on his own. Patrick Stump’s debut solo album, Soul Punk, hits stores next month.
Your boy tonight,
Yesterday Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter went up against “Watson”, an IBM supercomputer, in a practice round for an upcoming Jeopardy TV Special. If this is real, the results will terrify you.
Apparently Watson uses voice recognition to analyze the questions, scans its databases, and comes up with an answer within 3 seconds. While this is a tad too creepy for my liking, I can’t help but feel giddy at the fact that we’re this much closer to building a real Kevin.
I love character design. One of the things I love most about Hamburger Disco is working on and exploring all of the cool characters we’ve got in our little world – like the fast food robot Fryman, and the Feed Me workers.
There’s nothing better than the fusion of great music, slick animation, and even better character design. This music video checks all three boxes.

The Texas 2 Burger, photographed here, is just one of McDonalds Japan’s American-themed burgers. Their new Big America 2 campaign started last week. The Texas 2 Burger consists of chili, cheese, bacon and 645 calories worth of yummy goodness. The Hashbrown featured Idaho Burger gets my vote.
This fulfills another stereotype of Americans being overweight. But hey, if it sells, it sells.
Check out the news story below.
Daniel Craig will reprise his role as 007 coming up in the 23rd bond flick coming out fall next year. November 9th, 2012 to be exact.
I think Daniel Craig is a great modern day bond and I loved his work in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. I was a little young to experience Connery and Moore’s roles as Bond, but I’ve loved the Brosnan and Craig versions of the series.
Hopefully “Bond 23″ (working title) will be just as good!
After hours at the Hamburger Disco office is Street Fighter IV time. And while Jay and Rumell beat me regularly, I still love the game. Check out this wicked fanart by Captainosaka. Big ups to the captain for including Street Fighter III characters – Alex doesn’t get as much attention as he should.

And the battle continues,
Jason Freeny is at it again. First he dissected Mario, and now he’s done everyone’s favourite egg-thrower, Yoshi. For those of you who haven’t seen Jason’s work before, you have to check out his site. He takes vinyl toys, cuts them open, and gives everyone a peek at our most loved characters’ innards. While this Yoshi is amazing, my favourite by far is his Stay Puft creation. Who know Marshmallow monsters had so many bones?
Zombie Spaceship Wasteland: A book that is definitely on my to read list. Patton Oswalt has been one of my favourite comedians in the last five years, and I haven’t even seen a lot of his stand up. I remember seeing him just as the weird friend dude on King of Queens. Now I think he is probably one of the funniest talk show guests around (Others go to Norm Macdonald, Will Arnett, Harland Williams).
I’m always excited to see this guy as a guest on any talk show. He’s got great antics and great observations. If you want to youtube it i’m sure you can google “Patton Oswalt ______”, insert a talk show host of your choice, and find an ass-load of clips.
Anyway, Patton talks about his life stylized with his own geekiness and comedy. Order on Amazon.
Check it Out!
