Street Fighter X Tekken

Most of you have already heard the news of Capcom’s newest announcement at this year’s Comic-Con for “Street Fighter X Tekken” and Namco’s “Tekken X Street Fighter”.  I myself was pretty excited when I first heard of it but I have to say… not as excited as these guys…

The sound of an exhibition hall full of screaming gamers when Chun-li comes in to tag Ryu is a nerdgasm all in unison.  The only time I’ve ever heard it live was the opening credits of Star Wars Episode 1 in theatres on its first weekend, It’s definitely something to experience in person.

Cee-Lo covers Band of Horses

I really didn’t want to post up another video but I just recently discovered this cover and video.  Check out Cee-Lo green in his own style for this already great song.  This is probably one of my favourite songs from Band of Horses, and I was just talking to a friend of mine about how Cee-Lo is amazing on that new Bruno Mars track.

Cee-Lo’s unique vocals really gives the song a different twist, he definitely gives us an amazing track for the summer.  If you really like Cee-Lo like we do here, make sure to check out ceelogreen.co.uk for a download of his track “Georgia” which is equally amazing.

The Original Band of Horses version.

Maximum Balloon – Tiger f. Aku From Dragons of Zynth

So I stumbled upon this awesome track while looking for new music and to my surprise it came with an equally awesome Esquire video.  The girl dancing in the video is English model Daisy Lowe (daughter of Gavin Rossdale, Bush frontman, married to Gwen Stefani).  I don’t know what I like more now, the song or the hypnotizing dancing from Miss Lowe…

If you like beautiful women shot in High Definition then definitely check out Greg Williams’ channel on Vimeo.  He’s a photographer for Esquire and has worked with Megan Fox and my personal favourite, Kate Beckinsale (sexiest woman alive, very hot video).

Hamburger Disco in “Liquid Suave”

So Hamburger Disco has been busy lately with small side projects and we recently decided to step into the realm of film making.  Short Films to be more accurate.  The name of the producer/director should be a bit familiar with a few HD fans as he is none other than Hamburger Disco’s very own male model!  Who knew there’s a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking?

Mattias plays the nerd who falls in love with a girl and does what he can to impress her.  The lovely Christine, Hamburger Disco’s Photographer, plays the love interest.  Chock full of cameos (justalilhype! JuicyJay! Exp0 86!) and accompanied by quite possibly the most well-known Motown hits of the 60’s this film is sure to warm your hearts!

I’m lost without Lost…

So Mattias and I are open about being Lost fans (not really a Lostie, but we really like the show.  A “Lostie” is like Trekkies for Star Trek) ever since the first season.  We spent a whole summer catching up through 2 seasons so it comes as no surprise that this weekend was indeed a sad but satisfying weekend.

If you’ve been living under a rock, one of the greatest shows to ever grace our television sets ended on Sunday with a 2.5 hour special series finale.  I’m not gonna get into details of the episode nor am I going to discuss the episode (what the hell, weak ending.  None of my questions were answered…) either.

Jimmy Kimmel is a big Lostie and he shows it by inviting the cast numerous times as guests on his show to discuss what was going on in that season, so you’d expect it from him to make a Lost recap with the cast to send off the show.  It was a really good episode that showed just how close the cast of Lost got over 6 years of filming together.  One of the best parts of the show was when he played “alternate” endings starring the Lost cast and it’s writers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse.

We’ll miss you Lost, you were good times well spent.
